We are told that Steve won his match easily hence Britain were off to a good start.

In Peter's first game he took an early double but lost on a gammon, next match was same again, the third he dropped making the match score 9-0. Peter did pull the match score back to 11-9 but didn't quite make it all the way.

So the outcome rested upon the shoulders of Nicky Check as all was looking good as he took a lead of 7-1. But it all went wrong and Nicky ended up the second placed player.

Turkey went on to face Japan in the Final and Turkey won.
Correction.....
Turkey went on to face Denmark in the Final and Denmark won.
