A non-transferable voucher for a seat in

Marienlyst Hotel in Helsingør, Denmark
midday Thursday 20th to the morning of Tuesday 25th March 2008

Details:

THERE WILL BE 1 MAIN SATELLITE.
When Round 1 of that is completed there will be
more Satellites for 4 and 8 players.

Registration will open at 10am
All registrations MUST be done in person.
No telephone registrations and no players registering for their friend(s)
who will “be along shortly.”

THE MAIN SATELLITE:
Minimum 8 players, maximum 64 players.

Entry Fee to The Main Satellite will be
£1200 and will be
divided by the number of entrants.
So entry fees will be:

Registration for the Main Satellite will close at 11.30am at the latest.
No late entrants to the Main Satellite.
If 64 players are in-situ before 11.30am the taking of entry fees
and the draw will commence immediately.

If it is a 33 to 64 player tournament match lengths will be
9 points Crawford.
If it is an 8 to 32 player tournament match lengths will be
11 points Crawford.
Players must be ready to play as soon as their opponent is known.

If time allows there will be
Optional Pools and a Group or Calcutta Auction.

THE OTHER SATELLITES:
For those players knocked out of the Main Satellite
and for late arrivals there will also be
4 or 8 player Satellites during the day.
Entry fee to these will be upon demand.
There will be NO Auctionable charges.

Arrival at The King's Stores by 11am is
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

The King's Stores will not be open to the public -
we have the sole use of the venue all day and evening.
Tea and coffee will be available from 10am,
the bar (normal bar prices) will be open from 11am - 11pm.
food (which is very good) will be served from midday - 9pm.

32 Hector-Saxe backgammon boards will be in situ -
no need to bring your board.
Precision dice will NOT be provided -
if you would like to use please bring your own.

The winning player of the Main Satellite will be provided with
Backgammon in London and WSOB Shirts
to be worn for the duration of the Nordic Open.
