This 3rd Tuesday in the month event was set up as a workshop evening but it seems that some established players just can't get enough play so it was also a tournament evening and a Winter Doubles match was played as well.

Biddle Dum & Biddle Dee over-powered OXO in the Doubles - next time you see Richard ask him what Dee overhead him say in the thin walled gents after the match and Caroline's corridor response!

Stuart and Sarah and another chap whose name escapes me came along for a workshop; they got Mike Main as a tutor! Here's the link I spoke about to the computer programme (bot they're called) page.

Lewis Potter, who has been doing his bg studies, won the Swiss Tournament, regular £10 player Mahmoud Jahanbani won the Knockout and Catalin Bucur won the 4 player big money Mini-Jackpot 1.
 

A nice little evening for those that came. We need to keep these mid-month events going but I'll be in Meribel next mid-month so will ask around for somebody else (Richard) to hold the fort while I ski. Oh dear, I shouldn't have written what I wrote about what was heard in the loos!
