14th December 2008

28 Entries, 5 Tournaments, 17 Players, £925 Prize Fund,
Andrew Ableson wins Jackpot.

The final of the Consolation Doubles Tournament was played at midday between Sean and Zoe versus Catalin & Mourad. However Mourad couldn't be there so Catalin had to play on his own for both of them. The match went to DMP and Catalin won it. Hard luck Zoe and Sean, bravo Catalin and Mourad.

At 3.00pm we started the £100er. 6 players were up for it and another 2 were willing at £50 so we made it an 8 player Variable Optional Pool. Andrew Ableson comes along pretty regularly these days and I'm pleased to be able to report a first big Bg in London Tournament win for him.

Martin Hemming continued his good form by winning T2, Catalin, Michael F and Dave Moon won Mini-Jackpots.

Summary:

A low turnout due I hope to people doing their Christmas run-up duties.

Next big event: Bg in Camden Tue 6th January 2009
