Ok - so that's rather a flippant joke I agree but.....

Charles Darwin was a backgammon player. Of note is Darwin's strict schedule for playing backgammon. Every night between 8.00 and 8.30 Darwin would play 2 games of backgammon with Emma. He even kept score of every game he played for years! He once bragging that over the years he had won "2,795 games to her piddling 2,490."
