Event
Format: The format and spirit of the tournament this year will closely follow the two preceding events; Roland and Simonetta's Wedding Tournament, "The Bristol Wide Open 2005" and "The Bristol International Festival of Backgammon 2006" Two flights will be formed on the day; Intermediate and Championship Flights. Basic Entry fee and Registration are compulsory. Optional side pools to boost prize money. Intermediate Entry £30, Optional side pool £30, Registration £10 Championship Entry £170, Optional side pool £100, Registration £30 Provisional Match lengths; (subject to number of players) Intermediate Flight 11 main / 7 cons, Championship Flight 15 main / 9 cons There will be the usual Side Events, like jackpots, stop pots, and almost certainly poker Satellite Tournaments in advance of the event: You will have the chance to win your entry fee at a mere fraction of the actual cost. |
