The board up for auction is from the new and
slightly smaller range.
37cms x 25.5cms x 7cms when closed, 37cms x 51cms x 3.5cms when open. This makes it small enough to put into a suitcase going on holiday whereas for some the tournament size are rather too large and heavy to do so. The new small size boards are not yet on the market. They are expected to be for sale shortly in London with a price tag of over £1000. Genesis Naylor will be in attendance at the auction which will be conducted Mike Main of Bg in London. The auction will be in benefit of Norwood charity who are hosting their 3rd evening of the Norwood Backgammon Series 3. We gather that there are still a few seat available. |
