An evening of Live Qualifiers
on
Tuesday 21st April
at
The Lockside Lounge, Camden Town
for
The Casinorip.com London Open 2009


 

Championship Flight Qualifiers:
We will run 2 (or 3 if there is the demand)
8 player Qualifier Knockout Clock Play Tournaments.
Entry fee (including registration) will be £25 per player.

The winners will receive:
Free Registration and Entry and a £20 bar voucher
to the Championship Flight of the Casinorip.com London Open 2009
on Saturday 30th and Sunday 1st May.

This will be an excellent opportunity for players to:
Gain practice on Clock Play
(which will be obligatory in the Champs Flight at the London Open)
and to gain entry to the Championship Flight at a reduced cost to themselves.

Clock Play time controls will be:
12 seconds per move, 14 minutes time bank
for the 7 point matches per round that will be played.

Registration will be open as of 6.00pm
and will be on a first come first served basis.

Intermediate Flight Qualifiers:
We will run 2 (or 3 if there is the demand)
8 player Qualifier Knockout Clock Play Tournaments.
Entry fee (including registration) will be £15 per player.

The winners will receive:
Free Registration and Entry and a £15 bar voucher
to the Intermediate Flight of the Casinorip.com London Open 2009
on Saturday 30th and Sunday 1st May.

This will be an excellent opportunity for players to:
Gain practice on Clock Play
(which will be if both players prefer in the Intermediate Flight at the London Open)
and to gain entry to the Intermediate Flight at a reduced cost to themselves.

Clock Play time controls will be:
15 seconds per move, 10 minutes time bank
for the 5 point matches per round that will be played.

Registration will be open as of 6.00pm
and will be on a first come first served basis.

Casuals Flight Qualifier:
We will run a Tric Trac Tourno (all play all) for all interested casual players.
No doubling cube, no clock play.
½ point for a loss,
1 point for a straight win,
2 points for a gammon,
3 points for a backgammon.

Registration fee for the evening will be £5 per player.
The entry fee will be £25 divided by the number of players.
Registration will close at 7.15pm.

The winner will gain:
Free Registration and Entry and a £5 bar voucher
to the Casuals Flight of the Casinorip.com London Open 2009
on Saturday 30th and Sunday 1st May.

Players that will not be able to attend to Casinorip.com London Open
are welcome to attend as well – we'll lay on tournaments in accordance to numbers.
