Updated 7th October 2009. HAVE A DRINK (formerly Bring a Present) The idea of the Presents was to increase the community feel of the weekend. We've adapted this section slightly for this year... In previous years all players were asked to bring a present valued at £5-£10 for another player, all those that did had their name put into a hat  and received a present at random from another player who had bought one. Last year some of the presents were terrific but some were rubbish. You can imagine the disharmony this caused. So this year everybody will be offered entry to "Buy another player a drink, get a drink from another player." Names of those that enter will go into a hat at 7.00pm on the Saturday and your buyer of your drink will be drawn at random. All drinks must be bought on the Saturday evening either before or during the Doubles Tournament because not everybody will be there on Sunday. The gaining of Champ 'o' Champs points for Presents / a Drink is also dropped because it rather smacked of players being able to buy Champ 'o' Champ points. This will be a lot cheaper than buying a present for another, will mean players do not have to bring or take away a present and should be a doddle to manage while encouraging the social side of the weekend.   The Have a Drink Organiser will be  ???   Bg in London always advises players to drink responsibly.
